1 lb bratwurst
4 hot dog buns
2 tbsp olive oil
1 large onion
2 tbsp honey mustard
- Set grill or grill pan to medium. Grill the bratwursts 10-15 minutes, covered, until cooked through, turning occasionally. Lightly grill the buns.
- Meanwhile, in a 12-inch skillet, heat the oil on medium-high heat. Thinly slice the onion and add to skillet, along with 2 tbsp water. Season with salt and pepper. Cover and cook 5 minutes, stirring once halfway through. Uncover and cook another 3-5 minutes, until golden, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and stir in the honey mustard.
- Serve brats in buns topped with honey mustard onions.
