Lemon Ginger Turmeric Tea


4 cups water
1 lemon
2-inch turmeric, cut into slices
1-inch ginger, cut into slices
1 cinnamon stick
pinch of cracked black pepper
1 tbsp maple syrup

Cooking Instructions:

  1. Bring a small pot with water to a boil
  2. Add the lemon, turmeric, ginger, and cinnamon stick. Pop on the lid and let it simmer for 5 minutes over low heat.
  3. Pour the hot tea through a fine-mesh sieve and sweeten with maple syrup
